UW Oshkosh is the largest of 11 comprehensive universities in a public higher education system that also includes two doctoral institutions and a statewide Extension. The University was founded in 1871 and provides educational programs and services to the scenic Fox River Valley region of central northeast
Wisconsin. UW Oshkosh is now a thriving, two campus university, with a branch campus - UWO Fox Cities, located in Appleton, WI. The 163-acres of the campuses are strategically located in a thriving economic and cultural basin with a combined population of over 750,000. This urban corridor consists of a cluster of dynamic, growing, mid-sized communities that stretch from Milwaukee to Green Bay.

The Division of Enrollment and Student Success at UW Oshkosh provides an integrated experience through student-centered programs, facilities and services that promote educational, professional, and personal development. The division promotes an inclusive community, which creates lifelong learners who
contribute to a global society.

In concert with the vice chancellor for Enrollment and Student Success, academic leadership and a talented and dedicated faculty and staff, the next UW Oshkosh Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Life and Dean of Students (AVC/DOS) will be an innovative and collaborative leader who serves as a visible

In a time of renewed energy and optimism as the university meets the opportunities of its new strategic plan, this is an opportunity to become a critical part of a shared governance community.

The next AVC/DOS, in close partnership with the vice chancellor and the divisional leadership team, will support the division's collective efforts to provide an exceptional student experience from pre-enrollment through graduation. The AVC/DOS will work with divisional and academic partners from across campus to
advance an integrated student experience rooted in student engagement, health, safety, and wellness.

The successful candidate will be a communicative and engaging leader known for their fair-mindedness, consistency, resourcefulness, and creativity in developing and presenting sound and well thought out ideas. They will be deeply committed to collaboration, relational leadership, and creative problem-solving and thinking, demonstrate exceptional administrative, financial, and managerial acumen; and possess a broad knowledge of current student success issues and trends. A master's degree is required.
